switching blogs

so...my loyal readers. i have switched to the machine that is blogger. my other blog was constantly having problems, and john has a page on here so i figured it was time to take the leap. so since it has been a while here's the latest on my life....

umm...lets start with a brief re-cap of last year. i went to japan and met some amazing people who will be my friends for life. then i went to australia with john and it was absolutely amazing. then back to the harsh reality of america. i busted my butt all summer to graduate...ended up taking 3 summer classes, writing a thesis, and doing an internship...on top of having a job. and, oh yea, did i mention the fact that john lived in louisville while i was stuck in the hellhole that is lexington? yes. it was amazing. oh wait, no it totally sucked. well, aside from a few highlights of hanging with christina and drunken nights with chance, arin, and crew, it sucked. john and i did some good stuff, like visiting troy and rachael in florida, so the summer wasn't a total bust.

in august i finally got to escape lexington and come home, where i had 2 weeks to spend with john before he left for japan. sigh. we had a baller party at the galt house and basically just tried to spend as much time together as possible.

which leads us to the present. john is in sendai. and i am in louisville. we are worlds apart. this is the hardest thing i've ever had to do...and i've had to do many hard things in this relationship. but, i have no doubt that it will only make us stronger. that's the beauty of love... :)
